  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Ginger sliced
  • 0.5 Tbsp Fresh Turmeric
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 0.25 cup Pineapple Core Chunks
  • 1 cup Filtered Water
  • 1 Lemon-Verbena Tea Bag
  • 1 tsp Raw Apple-Cider Vinegar optional
  • 1 Lemon Slice for garnish
  • Honey to taste

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of filtered water to a boil.

  • Add lemongrass, ginger, and cinnamon. Reduce heat and simmer for 8 minutes.

  • Remove from heat and stir in hibiscus flowers (and green tea, if using). Steep for 5 minutes.

  • Strain the tea into a teapot or mugs.

  • Stir in honey if desired, and garnish with a slice of lime.

 

  • Serve hot in the morning or chilled over ice for a refreshing afternoon drink.

Notes

  • For a stronger metabolism boost, increase ginger slices.

  • To enjoy before bed, omit green tea to keep it caffeine-free.
